Summary

We are seeking a Part Time Salesforce Architect to provide technical oversight and vendor management for a critical eLicensing system. In this role, you will act as the technical authority, ensuring delivery excellence and architectural integrity.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (In-office based on business needs)
Commitment: Part-Time (Average 20 hours/week)
Schedule: Flexible; must align with vendor activities (may include evenings/weekends for deployments).

Core Responsibilities

Technical Governance: Serve as the final authority on architectural decisions and approve all technical designs.
Vendor Management: Conduct code reviews, audit deliverables, and validate vendor estimates/performance.
Risk & Security: Identify technical debt, ensure federal/state security compliance, and monitor data encryption.
Technical Escalation: Resolve critical production issues if the vendor cannot and build proof-of-concepts for complex solutions.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

Experience: * 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce development and architecture.
- 3+ years in a Senior Architect or Technical Lead role.
- Proven experience managing external vendors/managed service providers.
Technical Depth: * Expertise in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and Declarative development.
- Knowledge of MuleSoft (APIs) and DevOps tools like Copado or Flosum.
- Deep understanding of Large Data Volumes (LDV) and security patterns.
Certifications:
- Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator (Required).
- At least 3 additional active Salesforce certifications.

Key Requirements

Must be able to pass a fingerprint background check.
Strict Prohibition: Government equipment cannot be taken or used outside of the United States.
Ability to challenge vendors constructively while maintaining stakeholder satisfaction.
