Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced PostgreSQL Engineer to manage, optimize, and support PostgreSQL database environments. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in database administration, performance tuning, backup and recovery, and high availability.

Required Skills:

8+ years of IT experience with strong database engineering experience
Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL administration and development
Experience in database installation, configuration, upgrades, and migrations
Strong knowledge of performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing
Experience with backup, recovery, replication, and high availability solutions
Proficiency in SQL, PL/pgSQL, and database troubleshooting
Experience with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) is a plus
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skil
