Location: Remote (Must be based in US) with occasional travel to Washington DC
Duration: 12 months
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2 or C2C
Overview We are seeking an experienced SAP Accounts Payable & Financial Operations Lead to support a major enterprise financial transformation initiative. This role will lead accounts payable, financial operations, payment processing, and related financial management processes within an SAP S/4HANA environment.
The ideal candidate will bring strong SAP Financial Accounting expertise, deep knowledge of accounts payable operations, and experience driving business process improvements across complex organizations.
Description- Lead accounts payable and financial operations process transformation initiatives
- Support SAP S/4HANA financial modernization and optimization activities
- Conduct stakeholder workshops, requirements gathering, and process design sessions
- Develop functional recommendations, solution designs, and process improvements
- Support testing, deployment, training, and change management activities
- Collaborate closely with finance, accounting, and business stakeholders
- Ensure solutions align with financial controls, compliance requirements, and business objectives
Requirements
- 8+ years of ERP consulting experience
- 2+ years of SAP S/4HANA experience Required
- Public sector financial management experience
- Strong SAP Financial Accounting (FI) experience
- Extensive Accounts Payable (AP) expertise
- Experience leading functional workstreams and stakeholder engagements
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working within Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies
