Summary

Role: IVR Voice Tester (French Canadian)

Location: Remote

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IVR Voice Tester who is fluent in French Canadian and English to validate, test, and ensure the quality of Interactive Voice Response (IVR) applications and contact center solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for functional, regression, and end-to-end testing of IVR call flows, speech recognition, voice prompts, DTMF inputs, and call routing scenarios while ensuring an exceptional customer experience for French Canadian users.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Execute end-to-end testing of IVR applications, call flows, and contact center solutions.
  • Validate French Canadian voice prompts, grammar, pronunciation, and localization accuracy.
  • Test speech recognition, Natural Language Understanding (NLU), and conversational IVR systems.
  • Verify DTMF (touch-tone) inputs and system responses.
  • Perform functional, integration, system, UAT, and regression testing.
  • Validate call routing, transfers, callbacks, and agent handoff scenarios.
  • Create, execute, and maintain detailed test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
  • Identify, document, track, and retest defects using defect management tools.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and contact center teams.
  • Validate bilingual IVR experiences in English and French Canadian.
  • Test voice biometrics, speech analytics, and conversational AI solutions when applicable.
  • Ensure compliance with business requirements and customer experience standards.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Perform smoke, sanity, and production validation testing.
  • Prepare test execution reports and communicate testing status to stakeholders.

 

Client Required Skills:

  • Native or Fluent French Canadian speaking, reading, and writing skills.
  • Strong English communication skills.
  • 3+ years of Software QA or Testing experience.
  • Hands-on experience in IVR Testing and Contact Center Testing.
  • Experience testing speech-enabled IVR applications.
  • Knowledge of IVR call flows and telephony systems.
  • Experience with Manual Testing methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
  • Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira, ALM, or Azure DevOps.
  • Experience creating test plans, test cases, and test execution reports.
  • Knowledge of regression, functional, integration, and UAT testing.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to validate voice prompts, localization, and language accuracy.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
