ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Application Development & Engineering
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and document enterprise web applications and APIs.
- Develop scalable and high-performance solutions using modern software design patterns and architectural principles.
- Lead development efforts for new applications, enhancements, integrations, and modernization projects.
- Develop responsive and accessible user interfaces that provide an optimal user experience.
- Perform code reviews and enforce coding standards and security best practices.
- Troubleshoot complex application issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
Architecture & Technical Leadership
- Participate in application architecture and technology roadmap planning.
- Design RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven integrations.
- Promote secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) standards.
- Align development practices with enterprise governance and security requirements.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate.
DevOps & Cloud Engineering
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Support automated deployment, infrastructure-as-code, and environment management.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to optimize cloud-hosted workloads.
- Monitor application performance, logging, telemetry, and operational metrics.
- Assist with disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
Business Analysis & Collaboration
- Collaborate with business units to gather and refine requirements.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and user stories.
- Participate in Agile planning, estimation, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Support user acceptance testing and production releases.
Artificial Intelligence & Automation
- Utilize Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, and approved AI platforms to improve development productivity.
- Design AI-enabled business solutions utilizing LLMs, agents, RAG, workflow automation, and enterprise AI services.
- Evaluate and implement AI-assisted software development practices.
- Ensure responsible AI principles, governance, privacy, and security requirements are followed.
