Job : Project Manager

Location :

• Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

• Candidates must reside in Pennsylvania at the time of submission (No relocation allowed)

• Must work 2 days per week onsite in Harrisburg office

Responsibilities

Project Management & Leadership

• Direct and manage full project lifecycle (8 12+ months)

• Develop and maintain Project Management Plan

• Create detailed project schedule with milestones

• Ensure delivery within scope, budget, and timeline

• Obtain approvals and sign-offs from stakeholders

• Drive leadership decisions when required

Planning & Execution

• Manage planning, design, development, testing, and implementation phases

• Develop and revise project estimates

• Monitor project progress and take corrective actions

• Track and manage project budget

• Ensure scope changes follow Change Management Plan

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with vendor PM and internal teams

• Hold vendor accountable to SOW & SLA requirements

• Facilitate communication between IT teams and vendor

• Serve as primary point of contact for project issues

• Build strong relationships with stakeholders

Risk & Issue Management

• Maintain RAID+ Log (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)

• Identify and mitigate project risks

• Track issues to resolution

• Engage management proactively

Reporting & Documentation

• Provide weekly updates (Daptiv guidelines)

• Prepare status reports for leadership

• Capture and report project metrics

• Maintain SharePoint site and Microsoft Teams documentation

• Complete weekly timesheet in PeopleFluent/VectorVMS

Compliance & Governance

• Follow HHS DC IT PMO methodology

• Ensure compliance with standards and procedures

• Conduct peer reviews and quality assurance reviews

• Coordinate system testing

• Plan and conduct training sessions

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Project Management Institute (PMI) 5 project phases

• Proven experience managing enterprise-level IT projects

• Experience managing SaaS implementations and data migration projects

• Strong stakeholder communication skills

• Risk management experience (RAID Log)

• Budget and resource management experience

• Vendor management experience

• Experience with:

  • Microsoft Teams

  • SharePoint

  • Daptiv (Project tracking tool)

• Strong leadership and decision-making skills

• Ability to mentor junior PM staff
