Senior Oracle Software Engineer. 
Six+ month W2 (ONLY) contract - No C2C or 3rd Parties
On-site, BURBANK, CA - Must be currently local
Approx. Rate:  $100/hr. W2
MUST HAVES ALL OF FOLLOWING:

• 10+ years experience in Oracle, PL/SQL
• Report development experience using Jasper Reports or similar
• Experience leveraging AI Coding assistants
• Agile/Scrum environments
• Prefer experience with Snowflake/Cortex AI, Oracle EPM (Essbase and Hyperion Planning), data migration tools, AWS and/or SAP
• Prefer experience in Television Production/Major Entertainment companies

Seeking an Oracle Senior Software Engineer to join a team focused on implementing innovative solutions to support the production of episodic television. The team works to implement solutions across multiple studios and delivery platforms with a focus on building solutions to business problems that increase insight and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Translate complex functional requirements into code
Collaborate with other software engineers to integrate the various components of the system
Identify, analyze, and resolve technical problems
Stored procedure and package development
Jasper report development
Interface development
Data conversion
Performance tuning
Code review

Basic Qualifications

10+ years of software development
Expert in back-end development using Oracle PL/SQL
Strong report development skills using Jasper Reports or similar
Ability to troubleshoot problems, determine impact and resolve complex issues
Ability to develop a deep understanding of the television production data model
Ability to communicate clearly and work closely with developers and business analysts
Comfortable leveraging AI coding assistants to increase productivity
Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Snowflake and Cortex AI
Experience with Oracle EPM (Essbase and Hyperion Planning)
Experience with data migration tools such as Fivetran or similar
Experience using AWS EC2, RDS and Amazon Linux
Experience with SAP financials
Experience working at a major studio in television production
