Fulltime Role -Azure Architect - Milpitas, CA

Role Overview: We are seeking a senior Azure Architect to lead the end-to-end design, implementation, migration, and governance of enterprise-scale Azure cloud environments. In this customer-facing role, you will interface with executive leaders, security teams, and engineering groups to design resilient landing zones, hybrid connectivity, cloud migrations, and DevSecOps pipelines using Terraform, Bicep, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions.

• Experience Required: 12+ Years IT Experience (7+ Years in Azure Architecture)
• Core Specialty: Azure Landing Zones, IaaS/PaaS, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Migration & Modernization, Azure Governance
• Automation & DevOps: Terraform, ARM Templates/Bicep, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, PowerShell/Python
• Security & Identity: Azure Entra ID (Azure AD), Key Vault, Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, RBAC
• Containers & Observability: AKS, Azure App Services, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights

Key Responsibilities:

• Enterprise Cloud Strategy & Architecture: Design end-to-end Azure architectures, establish adoption roadmaps, reference architectures, enterprise landing zones, and governance frameworks.
• Migration & Modernization Leadership: Lead datacenter consolidation and migration of on-premises workloads to Azure; perform workload assessments and hybrid cloud integration.
• Security & Governance Architecture: Architect identity and access management using Azure Entra ID, RBAC, Conditional Access, Azure Key Vault, Defender for Cloud, and Azure Policies.
• DevOps & IaC Automation: Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards leveraging Terraform, Bicep, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions to support CI/CD pipelines.
• Observability & Operations: Design enterprise monitoring and logging with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Sentinel; support incident management and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• 12+ years of overall IT infrastructure and cloud experience.
• 7+ years of hands-on, enterprise-scale Azure Cloud Architecture experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven mastery of Azure core services (VNets, ExpressRoute, App Services, AKS, Azure SQL, Azure Backup/Site Recovery).
• Expert-level IaC capability in Terraform or ARM/Bicep.
• Strong executive presentation, stakeholder management, and consulting skills.

Preferred Certifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
• TOGAF or ITIL Foundation Certifications
