Your Assignment: The major task of the role is to use existing tool to generate a library of rigorously simulated (FDTD) images for machine learning modeling. He or she will get familiar with optical models and explore methods for improvement.
- Get familiar with the automation tool, analyze the results.
- Participate the discussion of improvement of Tachyon product.
- Further improve the automation tool and add more functionality to meet the need of data analysis.

Education and experience- Pursuing a Master's Degree or PhD in electrical engineering, physics, chemical engineering, IC manufacturing or process technology related field
- Script level programming skills - intermediate to advance level of experience / knowledge using Python.
- Experience or knowledge conducting data analysis and gathering data for reports.
- Basic statistic knowledge required.
- Knowledge of rigorous optical / electrical magnetic wave simulation (FDTD - finite difference time domain or RCWA - Rigorous Coupled Wave Analysis) is a plus.
- Knowledge of machine learning is a plus.

The current base annual salary range for this role is currently $18.00 - $56.00. Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
