Title:  Senior MicroStrategy Developer

Location: Remote

Visa: No H1b/OPT/CPT

• We are seeking a Senior MicroStrategy Developer who is MicroStrategy certified and has a strong understanding of master data and MicroStrategy metadata architecture.
• This role will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and maintaining our MicroStrategy environment, with a strong focus on metadata management, performance optimization, and cleanup of unused or redundant objects.
• The ideal candidate has hands-on enterprise experience with MicroStrategy, understands how metadata is structured and used across projects, and can help establish best practices to ensure a scalable, well-governed BI environment.

Required:

• MicroStrategy Certification ( Architect or equivalent) – mandatory.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience developing and supporting MicroStrategy in an enterprise environment.
• Strong architectural understanding of MicroStrategy metadata, schema objects, and logical data models.
• Solid understanding of master data concepts, shared dimensions, and enterprise hierarchies.
• Proven experience optimizing MicroStrategy environments and performing metadata cleanup and rationalization.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases and data warehouses.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both technical and business teams.
• Experience with SAAS Datawarehouse database (Snowflake preferred)

Preferred:

• Experience with MicroStrategy administration and security.
• Familiarity with data governance and metadata management practices.
• Experience working in cloud-based data and BI environments.
• Prior experience defining BI standards and development best practices
