Applications / Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking an Applications / Infrastructure Engineer to support development, integration, and deployment of Linux-based solutions. The role involves working with enterprise platforms to build secure, scalable, and resilient systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities: Develop and support solutions related to Linux Server OS, product integration, and deployment using tools such as Satellite, YUM, Ansible, and Terraform Collaborate with Agile Product Owners and internal stakeholders to deliver solutions based on business requirements and priorities Engineer and deploy Red Hat OS products, services, and enhancements in coordination with peer teams and vendors Design and implement solutions involving patching, OS builds, storage, networking, and system management Develop automation solutions using Shell scripting, Python, and Ansible Create and maintain technical documentation, including how-to guides for enterprise deployment Identify, evaluate, and certify new tools, products, and services Provide third-level support for deployed systems and services as needed Monitor system performance, logging, and event detection across distributed or cloud platforms Required Qualifications: 5+ years of software engineering experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience 5+ years of experience with Red Hat Server OS implementation 2+ years of experience managing high availability platforms and clustering 3+ years of experience with Ansible development and implementation Strong scripting experience using Shell, Python, and/or Ansible 3+ years of experience with server virtualization and physical server environments 3+ years of experience with logging, monitoring, and event detection on distributed or cloud platforms Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail Preferred Qualifications: Industry-standard technology certification Experience with OS build tools such as Packer 2+ years of experience working in Agile team environments Experience with system integration across multiple technologies and processes Experience with application, software, and infrastructure testing across SDLC and STLC 1+ year of experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Education: Bachelors Degree
