JOB SUMMARY
Vaco is currently seeking a Technical Implementation PM (Salesforce / Sitecore) for an 18-24M+ Contract opportunity that is located in Dallas, TX 75231 (onsite 1-2 days per week / up to 5 days onsite during key business phases). The Technical Implementation PM will be focused on a major program of Salesforce and Sitecore implementations with significant enterprise impact across marketing and communications digital properties. The Technical Implementation PM will ensure strict vendor accountability to SOW, timelines, scope, and deliverables while collaborating with internal Salesforce / Sitecore teams and integrating vendor work into overall outcomes. The Technical Implementation PM will have full, independent ownership of multimillion-dollar budgets, including continuous forecast vs. actuals tracking, multi-contract / vendor invoice reconciliation, variance mitigation proposals, and accurate reporting with no leadership oversight where it is currently managed via convoluted spreadsheets with future integration goals toward Oracle Fusion, Azure DevOps, and JIRA.
About the Project: The PM must be a proactive leader in a matrixed, high-pressure environments with aggressive timelines, frequent authoritative executive-level updates to a demanding Senior VP sponsor, and leadership of critical lifecycle meetings. The immediate critical workstream is the Salesforce Preference Center enhancement and build-out using an engaged third-party vendor, which must be completed by June 30 (fiscal year-end). In parallel, discovery is in progress for the main website redesign with a Relationship Marketing partner, which will define a 1+ year roadmap including Sitecore version upgrade and broader site reimagination, where scope and sequence to be finalized post-discovery. The PM will manage across Strategy / Planning, Execution / Delivery, Vendor / Contract Management, Financial Management, Communication / Influence, Resource / Team Leadership, Risk / Issue Management, Reporting / Metrics, and Digital Accessibility Expectations. There is a heightened emphasis on independent multimillion-dollar budget ownership, proactive vendor enforcement, constant stakeholder pulse, and exceptional soft skills in a dynamic, high-visibility nonprofit setting.
