Job Role: AWS Hands-On Engineer Lambda / EventBridge / SQS
Location: Remote
Contract only on W2
Required Skills
- 5+ years of AWS engineering experience
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS Lambda
- Strong expertise in Amazon SQS Standard and FIFO queues, DLQs, visibility timeout, retries, message ordering
- Strong experience with Amazon EventBridge event buses, rules, event patterns, targets, retries, cross-account events
- AWS API Gateway
- AWS IAM, CloudWatch, Cloud Trail, and AWS Systems Manager
- Experience with DynamoDB and/or RDS
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Node.js
- Experience designing and troubleshooting event-driven/server less architectures
- Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, AWS CDK, or Cloud Formation
- CI/CD experience using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab, or AWS CodePipeline
Ideal Candidate
A highly hands-on AWS engineer who can independently design, develop, deploy, and troubleshoot solutions, with deep practical expertise in AWS Lambda, EventBridge, and SQS.
