Join Our Team as an Electronics Engineer III where you will develop sophisticated electronics products in a world class Integrated Product Team.

Location: This position does not support teleworking;the selected candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in: King of Prussia PA and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time.

Key activities you will accomplish in this role:

Define, design, analyze, test, integrate, certify, and deliver custom automated test equipment within cost and schedule commitments to test re-entry vehicle assets which are critical to our nation's strategic deterrence.
Work onsite full time at Lockheed Martin in King of Prussia (a.k.a. Valley Forge) PA with flexibility to coordinate time for personal commitments as they arise.

To be effective in this role, you will need:

Electronics design, analysis, test, and troubleshooting (analog, digital, RF, or power) experience.
3+ years of experience
Must have an active DoD Final Secret clearance, thus you are a .

Basic Qualifications

Basic Qualifications (must-haves)
Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
Experience with:
o Electronics design, analysis, test, and troubleshooting (analog, digital, RF, or power)
o Schematic capture and simulation tools such as PSPICE, Zuken, LTSPICE, Hyperlynx, Advanced Design System (ADS)
Active DoD Secret clearance

Desired skills

Ability to achieve and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance
Ability to self-direct own work with general direction while actively collaborating in a multi-discipline team
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with other humans in-person and remote
Ability to provide technical solutions that are imaginative and practical
Ability to travel on occasion
Experience with the following:
o Electrical worst-case and parts stress analysis
o Hands-on test, troubleshooting, and integration of electronic hardware
o Producing interface and interconnect diagrams
o Custom test equipment / test racks
o Communications and signaling protocols (for example SPI, I2C, CAN, LVDS, SpaceWire, parallel/serial bus)
o Major program reviews such as System Requirements Review, Preliminary Design Review, Critical Design Review, Test Readiness Review, Qualification Readiness Review
o Missile or satellite hardware or related test hardware
o Failure investigation and root cause analysis
o Requirements definition, design, integration, test, verification, and validation of hardware in a highly regulated or high-reliability industry (defense, medical, etc.)
o Defining electrical system architecture from requirements definition, and allocating functions across hardware blocks
o System hardware and software integration
o Leading a technical team
Familiarity with the following:
o PWB layout, stack-up, and routing
o Cable and harness design
o Microcontroller circuit design including external reference clocking sources
o Embedded software design for microcontrollers
o S-Parameter measurement methodologies
o FPGA design
o Telemetry encoding and interfacing with telemetry sensors

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $98,300 - $170,315. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
