Azure Architect (Architecture Review Board)

Overview:

• Seeking a Senior Cloud Architect with 7 9 years of Azure Cloud Architecture and Enterprise Architecture experience.
• The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience designing and governing enterprise cloud environments, with expertise in Cloud Governance, Architecture Review Board (ARB) leadership, Hybrid Cloud, Cloud Security, FinOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and CI/CD.

Responsibilities:

• Design and govern enterprise-scale Azure cloud architectures and solution designs.
• Lead and participate in Architecture Review Board (ARB) activities, ensuring solutions align with enterprise architecture standards.
• Establish and maintain cloud governance frameworks, architecture standards, and best practices.
• Design and support hybrid cloud environments integrating cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
• Ensure cloud architectures meet security, compliance, scalability, availability, and performancerequirements.
• Drive FinOps and cloud cost optimization initiatives.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ARM, or Bicep.
• Support and govern CI/CD pipelines across enterprise cloud environments.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, infrastructure, business, and other stakeholders on enterprise solution design.
• Provide technical leadership and communicate architecture decisions to senior stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• 7 9 years of Azure Cloud Architecture experience.
• Strong Enterprise Architecture and enterprise-level solution design experience.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud Governance.
• Proven experience with Architecture Review Board (ARB) leadership.
• Strong experience designing and supporting Hybrid Cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of Cloud Security and enterprise security architecture.
• Experience with FinOps / Cloud Cost Optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience working in enterprise environments.
