Job Title: Healthcare PACS Technical Architect (Change Healthcare Product)
Location: Remote (USA/Canada)
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Healthcare PACS Technical Architect with strong expertise in Change Healthcare PACS products. The ideal candidate will lead the architecture, integration, and optimization of PACS solutions within a healthcare environment. This role will be based in Milwaukee or Chicago.
Responsibilities:
- Architect, design, and implement PACS solutions, focusing on Change Healthcare products.
- Lead technical assessments, migrations, and integrations between PACS and other healthcare IT systems (e.g., EMR/EHR, VNA, modalities).
- Collaborate with clinical, IT, and vendor teams to define and optimize workflows.
- Ensure PACS compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA).
- Troubleshoot complex PACS issues and provide technical guidance.
- Document architecture, configurations, workflows, and best practices.
- Mentor and support junior engineers and analysts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Healthcare IT, with at least 3 years in PACS architecture.
- Deep hands-on expertise with Change Healthcare PACS solutions.
- Solid experience integrating PACS with EMR/EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of DICOM, HL7, IHE, HIPAA, and healthcare interoperability standards.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work onsite in Milwaukee or Chicago.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with cloud-based medical imaging solutions.
- Certifications in Change Healthcare products or relevant PACS technology
