Summary

Job Description
We are seeking a Fire Alarm / Low Voltage Technician to support installation, service, and renovation projects throughout the Savannah area. This role is ideal for someone with low-voltage, security, or electrical experience who enjoys working independently, solving problems in the field, and developing their technical skills. Technicians will work on a variety of commercial projects while receiving hands-on training and exposure to advanced fire alarm and security systems.
What You'll Do
Install, troubleshoot, and support fire alarm and low-voltage systems
Perform device swaps, terminations, testing, assessments, and punch list work
Pull, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling
Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and device layouts
Support system upgrades, renovations, and new installations
Coordinate with project teams, electricians, and customers to ensure project success
Troubleshoot field issues and identify effective solutions
Maintain accurate project documentation and complete work according to company standards
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a professional work environment
What You Bring
Experience with low-voltage, fire alarm, security, or related electrical systems
Ability to read construction drawings and wiring diagrams
Experience using hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and termination tools
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Professional customer service and communication skills
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Strong work ethic, reliability, and eagerness to learn
Nice to Have
Experience with Edwards, EST, Simplex, FireLite, Alarm.com, Vista, or C CURE systems
Fire alarm installation or service experience
CCTV, access control, or integrated security systems experience
NICET certification
Experience supporting commercial, educational, or institutional facilities

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pooler, GA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $33.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
