Senior .NET Developer – 11+ Years Experience

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior .NET Developer with 11+ years of experience to design, develop, and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in C#, .NET Core/ASP.NET Core, Web API, SQL Server, Microservices, Azure, and modern software architecture. The role requires strong technical ownership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to mentor developers and work closely with architects, QA, business teams, and stakeholders. These technologies and responsibilities are commonly reflected in current senior .NET roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core.
• Build scalable RESTful APIs, Web APIs, and Microservices.
• Develop modern, secure, and high-performance backend services.
• Design and optimize SQL Server databases, stored procedures, functions, views, and complex queries.
• Implement Entity Framework/EF Core, LINQ, and appropriate design patterns.
• Work with Microsoft Azure services such as App Services, Functions, Service Bus, Azure SQL, Key Vault, Storage, and API Management.
• Participate in application modernization, cloud migration, and legacy system transformation initiatives.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization using OAuth 2.0, JWT, and Azure AD/Entra ID.
• Collaborate with architects and technical leads on solution design, architecture, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Perform code reviews and ensure coding standards, security, maintainability, and quality.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and conduct root-cause analysis.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, Git, Azure DevOps, Docker, and DevOps practices.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers and provide technical guidance.
• Work effectively within Agile/Scrum teams and participate in sprint planning, estimation, and technical discussions.

Required Technical Skills

• 11+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in C#, .NET, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, MVC, and Web API.
• Excellent knowledge of REST APIs, Microservices, OOP, SOLID, and Design Patterns.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL Server and T-SQL.
• Experience with Entity Framework / EF Core and LINQ.
• Strong understanding of Azure Cloud and cloud-native application development.
• Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile/Scrum.
• Strong debugging, performance tuning, security, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with Angular, React, or Blazor.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes/AKS.
• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Service Bus.
• Exposure to Redis, Cosmos DB, or NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of Terraform, PowerShell, Infrastructure as Code, and DevSecOps.
• Experience with xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest and automated testing.
• Familiarity with Clean Architecture, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), CQRS, and event-driven architecture.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
