Conversion Salary: $140,000 - $150,000 annually
Our client is a major energy and utilities organization focused on large-scale technology modernization and digital transformation initiatives. Based out of Columbus, OH or Merrillville, IN, they are looking to hire a Senior SAP Solution Delivery Lead on a Contract-to-Hire basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in a high-visibility SAP transformation program supporting critical customer service and Meter-to-Cash operations. The ideal candidate will bring deep SAP expertise and the ability to provide technical leadership across design, development, integration, testing, and deployment activities. Beyond hands-on SAP knowledge, this role offers the opportunity to influence enterprise architecture decisions, mentor teams, drive modernization efforts, and help establish long-term SAP best practices. ABAP programming experience
Experience with SAP APIs and BAPIs
SAP implementation experience in complex enterprise environments
SAP security and GRC Access Control experience
REST API and middleware integration experience
DevSecOps and CI/CD experience
SAP testing experience including Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, Regression, and Performance Testing
Experience with Jira and qTest
Strong communication and organizational skills

Daily Responsibilities
Review technical designs, code deliverables, and test results across SAP customer systems
Provide technical guidance and SAP implementation best practices
Oversee SAP design, configuration, customization, and integration activities
Coordinate delivery efforts across internal and third-party teams
Guide RICEFW development and ensure alignment with business requirements
Support unit, SIT, UAT, regression, and performance testing efforts
Manage deployment, cutover, and hypercare activities
Mentor operational teams and support knowledge transfer initiatives
Ensure SAP security, compliance, and access controls are properly implemented
Drive SAP DevSecOps standards, code quality, and automated testing practices
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across SAP and enterprise technology teams
Support program governance, status reporting, risk management, and issue resolution
Establish monitoring, performance, and error-handling standards across SAP
