Overview
We are seeking a Project Manager to lead broadcast, distribution, and technology initiatives from concept through implementation, launch, and operational handoff.
This is a delivery-focused PM role. The right candidate brings solid project management fundamentals, a working familiarity with broadcast or media technology environments, and the communication skills to keep stakeholders aligned across a complex, fast-moving program.
Responsibilities
Lead broadcast, distribution, and technology initiatives from concept through implementation, launch, and operational handoff.
Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, RAID logs, and executive status reporting.
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing regular communication on project status, risks, milestones, and delivery commitments.
Build and maintain strong relationships with distribution partners, customers, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure successful onboarding, launches, and ongoing operational support.
Drive cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Operations, Product, Customer, and Vendor teams.
Identify project risks, dependencies, customer impacts, and operational challenges and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
Facilitate stakeholder meetings and customer meetings throughout the life of the project.
Manage customer-facing launch activities, including project kickoff, requirements gathering, testing coordination, shadow operational support, issue resolution, and post-launch support to ensure a positive customer experience.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Broadcast Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
3 5 years of program or project management experience.
Familiarity with broadcast, media, streaming, or content distribution environments. You don't need to be a broadcast engineer, but you should be comfortable speaking the language.
Working understanding of content delivery workflows, including partner onboarding, testing, launch readiness, and ongoing operational support.
Experience with sports broadcasting, live event workflows, and Regional Sports Networks (RSNs) is preferred but not required.
Experience managing cross-functional teams without direct reporting authority.
Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project delivery methodologies.
Experience with JIRA, Smartsheet, Confluence, and Microsoft tools.
