Role Overview
This position is for a Full Stack Software Development Engineer. The role involves building next-generation AI and Search platforms for banking assistants across multiple platforms. The candidate will be responsible for both client-side and server-side technologies, focusing on producing high-quality software, solving complex problems, and performing code reviews. The role requires writing unit and integration tests and performing hybrid engineering tasks within an agile team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-volume applications using Java and Python.
- Build and manage enterprise backend services and ML services data pipelines.
- Design and implement restful web services using server-side frameworks like Spring MVC.
- Engage in performance tuning with an understanding of JVM internals.
- Work with NoSQL databases and distributed caching frameworks.
- Collaborate with the team on NLP and Machine Learning projects.
- Participate in an agile team, contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure high standards of software quality.
Required Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of hands-on software development experience is required.
Technical Skills:- Java / J2EE (primary for enterprise backend services)
- Python (for ML services, data pipelines, automation)
- Server-side frameworks such as Spring MVC
- Experience building restful web services
- Experience with NoSQL databases like Cassandra
- Familiarity with distributed caching frameworks like Hazelcast, Ignite, or Redis
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with modern JVM languages such as Groovy or Scala.
- Knowledge of open-source search engines like SOLR or Elasticsearch.
- Experience working with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning.
- A background in mathematics or statistics.
- Prior contributions to open-source projects.
Work Environment
This position requires a hybrid work schedule with a minimum of three days per week on-site in Addison, TX, beginning from day one.
Compensation & Benefits
The estimated pay range for this position is $60.00/hr to $68.26/hr. Compensation is determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, and contract-specific requirements. A benefits package may be available to eligible employees.
