Summary

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Django Lead with 9+ years of software development experience and strong expertise in Python, Django, enterprise application development, and system integrations. The ideal candidate will lead the design and development of scalable web applications, drive architecture decisions, mentor development teams, and deliver robust integration solutions across enterprise systems, cloud platforms, and third-party applications.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the architecture, design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade Django applications.
  • Design and build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems and APIs.
  • Lead development teams, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices and coding standards.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to deliver business solutions.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
  • Drive integration initiatives between internal applications, external systems, cloud platforms, and third-party services.
  • Develop and maintain system interfaces using REST, SOAP, GraphQL, messaging queues, and middleware platforms.
  • Optimize application performance, database design, and scalability.
  • Oversee CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide architectural guidance.
Skill Requirements
Required Skills
  • 9+ years of hands-on experience in software development.
  • Strong expertise in Python, Django, and Django REST Framework (DRF).
  • Extensive experience in designing and consuming REST APIs, web services, and microservices.
  • Strong experience with enterprise integrations, including:
    • Third-party API integrations
    • ERP/CRM integrations (SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.)
    • Payment gateway integrations
    • Identity and Access Management integrations (OAuth2, SAML, OpenID Connect, Azure AD)
    • Middleware and integration platforms
  • Experience with asynchronous processing using Celery, Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and database optimization techniques.
  • Experience with  Azure Cloud Platform.
  • Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, Terraform, and CI/CD processes.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, security, and scalability principles.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with FastAPI and modern Python frameworks.
  • Frontend experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Exposure to API Gateway technologies and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) solutions.
  • Knowledge of event-driven and distributed system architectures.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, or Splunk.
