Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth systems analysis and provide technical recommendations and insights based on business requirements for OutSystems applications.
• Design and present detailed technical solutions and Proofs of Concept (POCs) for common components, workflows, and functionalities, including role-based access control (RBAC) and transaction lifecycle management.
• Develop, test, and deploy OutSystems applications in accordance with project objectives, technical designs, and architectural standards.
• Ensure compliance with development, coding, privacy, and security standards throughout the application development lifecycle.
• Conduct comprehensive code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, development standards, best practices, and implementation guidelines.
• Demonstrate strong expertise in the OutSystems platform and architecture, with hands-on experience in Service Studio and LifeTime.
• Utilize technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, .NET (C#), SQL, and RESTful APIs to build and enhance OutSystems applications.
• Apply strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL to design and optimize data models and queries.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Business Analysts, UI/UX Designers, QA Engineers, and other stakeholders, to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of web and mobile application development principles and best practices.
• Leverage Agile methodologies and DevOps practices to improve development efficiency, automation, and collaboration.
• Stay up to date with the latest OutSystems platform features, capabilities, and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in application development using the OutSystems platform, including designing, developing, and deploying web and mobile applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with OutSystems architecture, Service Studio, and LifeTime.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, .NET (C#), SQL, and RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, application security, and performance optimization.
• Experience working in Agile development environments and implementing DevOps practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid and current OutSystems Architect Specialization certification.
• Experience leading development teams and architecting enterprise-scale OutSystems solutions.
