C# .NET Developer

Duties:

·         Demonstrates knowledge of software development techniques and fluency in software languages and application programming interfaces.

·         Demonstrates general understanding of hardware/software platforms including but not limited to operating systems, databases, application servers, web servers and integration technologies.

·         Plans and executes system implementations that ensure success and minimize risk of system outages or other negative production impacts.

·         Demonstrates conceptual knowledge of architecture standards and database and operating systems.

·         Demonstrates problem solving ability that allows for effective and timely resolution of system issues including but not limited to production outages.

·         Analyzes production system operations using tools such as monitoring, capacity analysis and outage root cause analysis to identify and drive change that ensures continuous improvement in system stability and performance.

·         Demonstrates knowledge of software development, life cycle, modeling of business processes, application design patterns, business/functional documents. Estimates to high level business requirements and provide options analysis.

·         Designs, implements, and supports integrations using REST APIs and service‑oriented architectures.

·         Ensures applications include proper error handling, logging, and monitoring.

·         Monitors application performance in production and non‑production environments to proactively identify and resolve issues.

·         Contributes to refactoring efforts to reduce technical debt and improve long‑term maintainability and stability.

·         Participates in code reviews and provides constructive feedback to improve code quality and development practices.

·         Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve defects and complex production issues; support and triage production incidents and participate in production support activities as needed.

·         Communicates effectively across technical and non‑technical audiences; demonstrate ownership, adaptability, and collaboration.

Accountabilities:

·         Supporting build projects for our Optifreight platform Responsible for hands-on design and development of application (.NET framework / SSIS Jobs) Support Integrations Assist in estimation of future work and changes Work with the business on enhancements Coordinate with the offshore team by sharing meeting notes, clarifying technical issues, and collaborating on resolution.

·         Participate in meetings with Product or business partners as needed to answer technical questions and relay updates to offshore developers.

Skills: Qualifications:

·         Experience with C# .NET

·         Experience with SQL databases

·         Experience working on an Agile team

·         Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) tools such as Jenkins / Concourse

·         Experience building web applications in Angular, React web frameworks or ASP.NET

·         Experience writing unit tests for web and microservice-based applications

·         Working knowledge of two or more technologies preferred Experience building microservice based applications
