Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled C++ Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance software applications using C++. The ideal candidate will have experience in object-oriented programming, software design, debugging, and system optimization. This role involves working with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and efficient software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using C++.
Analyze business and technical requirements to develop effective software solutions.
Develop and optimize high-performance, scalable, and reliable applications.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following coding standards.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to software design discussions.
Develop and maintain unit tests and support integration testing.
Collaborate with QA, DevOps, product managers, and other engineering teams.
Support software releases, deployments, and post-production issue resolution.
Maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and user guides.
Stay current with modern C++ standards, tools, and software development best practices.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong proficiency in C++ (C++11/14/17/20 or later).
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), data structures, and algorithms.
Experience with multithreading, concurrency, and memory management.
Experience with debugging and performance optimization.
Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Linux and Windows development environments.
Knowledge of networking concepts and socket programming.
Experience with STL, Boost, and modern C++ libraries.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Experience with build systems such as CMake or Make.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
Experience with embedded systems, real-time systems, graphics, or distributed systems is a plus, depending on business needs.
