Labeling Specialist
Location: Endicott, NY
Length: 8 week contract
Payrate: $20.00
Schedule: 1st - 8-4:30 with a 30 min break
2nd -4:00-12:30 with a 30 min break.
Work is 5 days a week rotating schedule office open Monday - Saturday
This role focuses on the installation, termination, testing, and documentation of high-density fiber optic cabling used in AI compute clusters and high-performance data environments. The ideal candidate will have experience with MPO16/MPO8 fiber systems, a solid understanding of data center best practices, and a commitment to maintaining optimal cable integrity, bend radius compliance, and labeling accuracy.
Labeling & Documentation
- Apply precise labeling schemes for all fibers, patch panels, and terminations using established naming conventions.
- Maintain and update as-built documentation, fiber maps, and connectivity records.
- Assist in developing and enforcing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for AI infrastructure buildouts.
