Summary

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise GIS Architect to design and implement scalable GIS solutions using Esri ArcGIS Enterprise. The ideal candidate will have strong utility industry experience and expertise in enterprise GIS architecture, cloud deployments, spatial databases, and system integration.

 
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement enterprise GIS architectures using ArcGIS Enterprise, Server, Portal, and Online.
  • Support GIS solutions for electric, gas, water, or renewable utility operations.
  • Design hybrid cloud and on-premise GIS environments across AWS, Azure, or IBM Cloud.
  • Integrate GIS with enterprise and utility operational systems.
  • Manage spatial databases including Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL/PostGIS.
  • Support GIS infrastructure, networking, load balancing, security, backup, and disaster recovery.
  • Develop automation and integrations using Python, JavaScript, and REST APIs.
  • Evaluate and support Hexagon/Intergraph GIS technologies.
  • Provide technical leadership, architecture governance, and stakeholder consultation.
Required Skills
  • 8+ years of enterprise GIS architecture experience.
  • Strong Esri ArcGIS Enterprise experience.
  • Energy & Utilities industry experience.
  • Experience with ArcGIS Server, Portal, Online, and Enterprise Geodatabases.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or IBM Cloud.
  • Strong knowledge of spatial databases and RDBMS.
  • Python, JavaScript, and REST API experience.
  • Knowledge of security, disaster recovery, and enterprise architecture governance.
  • Strong communication, consulting, and leadership skills.
