Job description:
Essential Duties
- Lead advanced threat detection engineering, correlation rule development, SIEM tuning, and proactive threat
- Manage and optimize core cybersecurity tools including SIEM, EDR, SOAR, DLP, CASB, email threat protection, and cloud security
- Direct incident response efforts including forensic analysis, malware analysis, containment, eradication, and executive
- Conduct vulnerability management using Tenable, Qualys, or similar tools, including prioritization and remediation
- Support AI governance and security by assessing risks, enforcing
responsible-use standards, monitoring for Shadow AI, and ensuring approved AI tools are used safely and in compliance with OOG policies and state AI
mandates.
- Develop and enforce cloud security (Azure/M365/AWS/Google) and Zero Trust
- Align security operations with NIST, CIS Controls, ISO, PCI, SOC, and other regulatory
- Mentor junior analysts and serve as senior advisor to
- Produce detailed intelligence, forensic, and executive security
- Perform all other related duties as
8+ Required Professional cybersecurity or digital forensics
engineering experience.
6+ Required Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR, DLP, SOAR,
cloud security, e-mail threat management, and vulnerability management tooling.
5+ Required Incident response leadership, forensic investigations,
malware analysis, and security engineering.
- Required Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience in IT,
Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field.
- Required Knowledge of NIST, CIS Controls, Zero Trust, and
enterprise security principles.
5+ Preferred Experience producing detailed intelligence analysis
reports on cyber threats and presenting findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Preferred Experience with AI governance and security controls, including evaluating AI tool risks, enforcing
responsible-use policies, and identifying
unmanaged/Shadow AI activity.
- Preferred Master s Degree from an accredited college or university in cybersecurity, information technology security, computer engineering, computer information systems, computer science, or management information systems
or related field.
