Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Java Spring Boot / Google Cloud Platform API Developer with 6+ years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, Google Cloud Platform, API development, and microservices. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and migrating enterprise APIs and cloud-based applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable Java Spring Boot APIs and microservices on Google Cloud Platform.
Design integration solutions connecting APIs with databases, search engines, and third-party systems.
Develop and maintain API services, routing solutions, CRUD operations, and integration scenarios.
Design and implement migration/re-platforming strategies from existing APIs to modern Java-based API services.
Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and software designs.
Apply software engineering principles, design patterns, integration patterns, data modeling, and performance optimization.
Collaborate with offshore and onsite teams and provide technical guidance to senior developers.
Maintain code repositories and coordinate automated build and deployment processes.
Define implementation processes, quality gates, coding standards, and development best practices.
Work in Agile environments using JIRA, Jenkins, version control, and code quality tools.

Required Skills

6+ years of hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and Google Cloud Platform-based application development.
Strong experience in API design, development, integration, and routing.
Hands-on experience with REST APIs, Web Services, and Microservices.
Experience with PostgreSQL, Google BigQuery, and Google Cloud Platform instances.
Knowledge of design patterns, integration patterns, data modeling, and caching/performance improvements.
Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Jenkins, Git/version control, and code quality tools.
Experience developing routing algorithms and API services using Java technologies.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work with onsite and offshore teams.
