NetSuite Release Engineer

NetSuite Release Engineer role and 100% remote role

Responsibilities include:

• Managing NetSuite production-to-lower-environment data refresh processes
• Coordinating environment copies from production to development, test, and staging environments
• Overseeing data anonymization processes, which may take several weeks following environment copies
• Performing validation checks to ensure refreshed environments are functioning correctly
• Reconfiguring environment connections after refresh, including:
• Test harness integrations
• API keys
• Security configurations
• System connectivity dependencies
• Ensuring lower environments are properly configured for testing and development activities

• Managing release processes and deployment workflows
• Coordinating code mergers and conflict resolution
• Maintaining release management tools and toolchains
• Ensuring the correct change sets are deployed to the appropriate environments
• Supporting deployment strategies including:
• Full repository deployments
• Selective deployments (e.g., cherry-picking changes)
• Working closely with development and QA teams to ensure controlled, stable releases

• Experience working with NetSuite environments
• Familiarity with NetSuite development concepts (SuiteScript or similar exposure)
• Experience supporting release engineering or release management processes
• Strong understanding of source control, merge management, and conflict resolution
• Experience managing multiple environments (Dev, Test, Stage)
• Ability to coordinate environment refreshes, configurations, and validation activities
• Strong troubleshooting and environment configuration skills
