We're seeking a future team member for the role of
Senior Linux Admin to join our Technical Services Group team. This role is in Pittsburgh, or Lake Mary.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: - You will support day-to-day operations of our enterprise Linux environment. Will be required to respond to incidents and work to resolution. This may include system performance, hardware issues, network communication, etc.
- It will be in an exclusively Linux environment, consisting mostly of Red Hat Linux. An in-depth understanding of Red Hat is required.
- Project work will include efforts of automation, system tuning, system recovery, and AI integration.
- A working knowledge of scripting, Ansible automation concepts is a must.
- You will be part of a global 24x7 team that provides support for the entire enterprise at the L2 support level. There will be multiple learning opportunities and growth potential.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred. 8 - 10 years of related infrastructure experience required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
- Must have experience administering and supporting enterprise Linux environments (e.g. Red Hat)
- Hands-on experience with system monitoring, performance tuning and root cause analysis.
- Must be knowledgeable of physical, virtual, and cloud-based infrastructures.
- Working knowledge of Ansible, VCenter. Cisco UCS experience preferred.
- Proven ability to work well with other teams and communicate issues and solutions to management
