Job Description:
Client is seeking a Sr Staff Engineer Software / Technical Lead with strong experience in Java, TypeScript, OpenShift, AWS, and platform modernization. The candidate will lead complex migration and platform retirement initiatives while ensuring business continuity.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead platform migration and retirement programs end-to-end.
Modernize Java/WebSphere applications to Spring Boot/Open Liberty/Quarkus on Kubernetes.
Design and maintain distributed systems and cloud solutions.
Build and support OpenShift/Kubernetes workloads and CI/CD pipelines.
Develop AWS solutions using S3, IAM, SQS/SNS, EventBridge, Lambda, and AWS Transfer Family.
Support Kafka, IBM MQ, REST/GraphQL APIs, and PostgreSQL.
Manage Axway/managed file transfer, SFTP/FTPS/AS2, PGP, scheduling, and partner onboarding.
Integrate and modernize mainframe and legacy systems.
Provide hands-on technical leadership, documentation, automation, and knowledge transfer.
