Summary

Gainwell Technologies is looking for an experienced product manager to lead design, development, and delivery of programmatic analytic solutions. This is a new product service line within the Data + Analytics business unit providing end-to-end analytic solutions supporting high-priority uses cases for our Medicaid and Public Sector Healthcare clients. The role provides an opportunity to develop and deploy solutions and services powering some of the most important and innovative state healthcare programs in the country.

Your role in our mission

The Director, Product Management will play an important leadership role within the product and solution architecture team. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide SME expertise in product development, management, and go-to-market activities.
  • Own go-to-market and client management activities (e.g., campaign management, client presentations, RFP response, client pitch meetings, implementation planning meetings, executive presentations).
  • Work with business leaders, account teams, and clients to define product vision, business requirements, and priority features for portfolio of programmatic analytic solutions.
  • Work with technology team to translate business requirements and feature set to technical requirements and development roadmap.
  • Manage product roadmaps for portfolio of solutions and coordinate effectively with stakeholders to ensure successful, timely development.
  • Work closely with account teams and clients to ensure continuous feedback cycle with product customers and end users.
  • Work across Data + Analytics and central product and engineering teams to ensure adherence to best practices and standards, and coordination with other product roadmaps.
  • Help build and manage product and technical partnerships, and drive strategic build / buy / partner decisions across portfolio.
  • Develop market facing demos and materials, and support client development efforts as the face of the product.
  • Mentor junior team members or cross-functional partners to foster a culture of excellence and continuous learning and improvement.
  • Represent the organization at key industry forums, conferences, and events.

What we're looking for

The Director, Product Management will be a seasoned product leader with relevant healthcare industry experience. We are looking for someone who shares our passion for healthcare and analytics, and a vision for how we can improve healthcare and health outcomes through better analytic products and solutions. The candidate must be entrepreneurial and collaborative. We are looking for someone who can get into the details, but who also knows how to lead a product and technology team, and work across a matrixed organization to drive successful outcomes.
  • Experience with State Medicaid and SNAP/TANF Eligibility/Enrollment processes and technologies.
  • Understanding of income and other verification processes and quality control processes.
  • Knowledge of SNAP and other public health programs and relevant policies.


Additional qualifications include:

  • Bachelors degree; Masters or other advanced degree in a relevant discipline preferred.
  • 5+ years experience including product management, healthcare analytics / consulting.
  • Proven track-record designing, developing, and successfully deploying analytic solutions.
  • Experience working across business lines and functions to successfully drive alignment and product vision, features, and requirements.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; adept at collaborating with clinical, technical, and business teams.
  • Experience working with different product management models and bringing best practices to product and technical teams.
  • Understanding of relevant healthcare regulations (HIPAA, CMS guidelines and best practices in data privacy and security.
  • Fluency and experience working with core statistical models and techniques, predictive analytics, ML and AI applications - preferably in a healthcare context.
  • Experience working with healthcare data and data systems (EHRs, claims systems, population health tools) and emerging digital health solutions.
  • Consulting or other professional services experience developing and delivering data / analytic services and solutions for healthcare clients a plus.
  • Exceptional presentation and storytelling capabilities to translate healthcare analytics into actionable insights..

What you should expect in this role
  • This position is 100% remote with the opportunity to travel up to ~20% annually.


The pay range for this position is $137,100.00 - $195,800.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
