Summary

Responsibilities: The role and duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:

Document, design, develop, test, implement and support Microsoft Power BI solutions
Deliver high quality Power BI solutions, lead validations for testing and all activities related to implementation.
Advise Data Quality leadership on Power BI projects and critical project tasks, review milestone project results and resolve any technical problems that may occur
Work closely with program offices to thoroughly understand business processes.
Consult and collaborate with program offices to translate needs into analytics/reporting requirements.
Coach and educate DQ staff on best practices, standards, and proper use of Power BI.
Identify opportunities for improving Power BI development methods and procedures.

Qualifications/Skills:

Minimum of 5 years of development experience in Power BI
Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query and data modeling
Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases
Ability to lead, plan, develop, and implement Power BI projects
Ability to provide technical user support
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing
Able to interact with individuals at all levels in a professional/personable manner
Expected to be able to work independently
