Anaplan Model Builder / Developer (Contract-to-Hire)

We are seeking an experienced Anaplan Model Builder/Developer to design, build, and optimize Anaplan solutions that support FP&A, revenue analytics, incentive compensation, performance reporting, planning, budgeting, and forecasting initiatives. This role will partner closely with Finance, IT, and Data teams to deliver scalable, automated, and user-friendly Anaplan models that drive business performance.
Note: Core delivery teams are located offshore; strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with Finance and business stakeholders to translate FP&A and revenue analytics requirements into scalable Anaplan solutions.
Design, develop, and enhance Anaplan models, dashboards, and data architectures.
Own new model development and enhancements to existing models, ensuring integrated and optimized design.
Maintain and continuously optimize current Anaplan environments to improve automation, integration, and user experience.
Perform testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure model accuracy, performance, and reliability.
Provide ongoing technical and application support to end users.
Stay current on Anaplan features and best practices, identifying opportunities to improve planning and analytics capabilities.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, IT, Data, and offshore delivery teams to ensure seamless system integration.
Document technical designs, system configurations, and development standards.
Key Requirements & Preferences:
Minimum 5+ years of Anaplan experience with multiple end-to-end implementations.
Primary focus on FP&A with experience in client revenue analytics.
Exposure to incentive compensation models is strongly preferred.
Finance background preferred.
Anaplan certifications strongly preferred.
Proven ability to design end-to-end, integrated solutions and automate manual processes.
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
