Seeking a seasoned D365 F&O Functional Lead with deep hands-on expertise in Finance & Supply Chain for an immediate contract position.

Must-Haves:

Based in the US (working East Coast hours) with the ability to travel to Philadelphia, PA when needed.
 

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Consultant to support our client on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with D365 F&O implementation, configuration, customization, integration, troubleshooting, and business process support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide functional and technical consulting support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into D365 F&O solutions.
• Configure and customize D365 F&O modules based on business requirements.
• Support finance, supply chain, procurement, inventory, and other relevant D365 F&O business processes.
• Troubleshoot application issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and document functional specifications.
• Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, customizations, and system enhancements.
• Participate in testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Assist with data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities.
• Support production issues, enhancements, and ongoing system improvements.
• Prepare functional documentation, process flows, and configuration documentation.
• Participate in client meetings and provide recommendations based on D365 F&O best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Strong understanding of D365 F&O business processes and configurations.
• Experience gathering and analyzing business requirements.
• Experience working with cross-functional business and technical teams.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with testing, UAT, and production support.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a contract/consulting environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with D365 F&O implementation or upgrade projects.
• Experience with integrations and third-party applications.
• Knowledge of Power Platform, Azure, or related Microsoft technologies.
• Experience with data migration and reporting.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications are a plus
