Summary

Hardware Design Engineer

Position Summary

We are seeking a Hardware Design Engineer with 2–5 years of experience to design, develop, test, and support digital, analog, and mixed-signal electronic hardware. You''''ll collaborate with senior engineers throughout the product lifecycle, from concept and schematic design through prototype bring-up, testing, and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Design electronic circuits and develop schematics using Altium Designer (or equivalent).
Support PCB bring-up, hardware debugging, and root-cause analysis.
Perform component selection, engineering calculations, and design reviews.
Use laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies, and digital multimeters.
Prepare engineering documentation and support prototype and production builds.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams.

Preferred Experience

Experience in some of the following is a plus:

Digital, analog, and mixed-signal design
FPGA development (AMD/Xilinx, Intel/Altera, or Microchip PolarFire)
Embedded systems
High-speed interfaces (Ethernet, USB, SPI, I²C, UART, PCIe, DDR, LVDS)
PCB layout
Python or other scripting languages
Signal integrity fundamentals

Qualifications

B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
2–5 years of hardware design experience
Experience with Altium Designer or equivalent ECAD software
Ability to troubleshoot electronic hardware to the component level
Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

FPGA, embedded software, or PCB layout experience
Python scripting and Git
Medical, aerospace, or defense electronics experience
Soldering and prototype rework experience
