Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP Commerce Hybris Consultant with strong expertise in implementing, customizing, and supporting SAP Commerce Cloud / SAP Hybris solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in B2B and B2C eCommerce implementations, Hybris architecture, integrations, and end-to-end commerce processes. This role requires strong technical and functional knowledge to deliver scalable digital commerce solutions aligned with business needs.

The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, developers, architects, QA teams, and project managers to design, develop, enhance, and support SAP Commerce Hybris platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into SAP Commerce Hybris solutions.
• Design, develop, and implement SAP Commerce Cloud / Hybris eCommerce applications.
• Customize core Hybris modules including Product Content Management (PCM), Order Management, Pricing, Promotions, Cart, Checkout, Customer Service, and Search.
• Develop and configure B2B and B2C commerce functionalities.
• Build and enhance storefront solutions using Accelerator, Spartacus, or custom front-end frameworks.
• Configure product catalogs, classification systems, pricing models, promotions, and customer hierarchies.
• Develop custom extensions, cron jobs, interceptors, facades, services, and business processes.
• Work on Hybris Backoffice, SmartEdit, CMS Cockpit, and administration tools.
• Integrate SAP Commerce with SAP ECC / S/4HANA, CRM, SAP CPI, payment gateways, tax engines, ERP systems, and third-party platforms.
• Implement REST APIs, OCC APIs, web services, and middleware integrations.
• Support order lifecycle processes including order capture, fulfillment, returns, and customer service workflows.
• Optimize system performance, scalability, caching, indexing, and search using Solr.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and development best practices.
• Conduct unit testing, SIT, UAT, regression testing, and production deployments.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide ongoing support.
• Prepare technical documentation, solution designs, and deployment guides.
• Work in Agile/Scrum environments with distributed teams.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in SAP Commerce Cloud / SAP Hybris implementation and support.
• Expertise in Java, Spring Framework, Hybris architecture, and commerce workflows.
• Hands-on experience with Hybris extensions, Backoffice, SmartEdit, and CMS tools.
• Experience in B2B/B2C commerce implementations.
• Strong knowledge of OCC APIs, REST services, and integrations.
• Experience with Solr, performance tuning, and search optimization.
• Knowledge of storefront technologies such as Accelerator or Spartacus.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP Commerce Cloud (CCV2) deployments.
• Exposure to SAP CPI / Integration Suite.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• SAP Commerce certification is a plus.
• Experience in retail, manufacturing, or consumer commerce domains
