Field Support Technician

IT Deployment Technician - Onsite (Grovetown, GA) - 5-Week Contract

We're supporting a major healthcare system seeking IT Deployment Technicians to assist with a large-scale equipment rollout inside a new hospital facility. This work involves installing and configuring IT hardware across multiple floors, ensuring devices are powered, connected, documented, and ready for clinical use.

What You'll Do

• Install and set up thin clients, full clients, monitors, tracking boards, printers, WOWs, kiosks, card readers, and SPR room setups
• Hang digital displays (mounts already installed)
• Connect devices to power and network ports
• Follow pre-built checklists for basic configuration
• Test devices to ensure they power on and connect properly
• Troubleshoot simple hardware/connectivity issues
• Document device information, room locations, and install details
• Work with the project team to complete each floor on schedule

What You Need

• 2+ years of IT hardware installation, low-voltage cabling, or field tech experience
• Ability to hang monitors and wall-mounted equipment
• Understanding of PC, printer, and network device connections
• Basic troubleshooting abilities
• Strong attention to detail and reliability in a fast-paced project

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 40 lbs
• Walk hospital floors for extended periods
• Use ladders for mounting equipment

Work Environment

• Fully onsite in a new hospital facility
• Team-based deployment effort across multiple floors
• Great short-term contract for hands-on IT techs

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
