Job Description:Parsons is seeking a Computer Scientist/Software Engineer in a multi-disciplinary software development position to support a wide range of programming efforts in a rapid prototyping, system integration, and algorithm development environment.
What You'll Be Doing:- Designing and developing algorithms that exploit sensor data to detect objects, determine what they are and what they are doing.
- Developing software to command and control hardware components such as cameras, radar, sensors, etc.
- Developing applications for Windows, Linux, Android, or embedded systems.
- Working with a cross-functional team including electrical and mechanical engineers and technicians.
Required- Experience with Algorithm and AI development, including Machine Learning (ML), Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), Machine Vision, and Image and Signal Processing.
- Experience developing software for a variety of applications and platforms, including interfacing with hardware, including imaging sensors, video processing and display, and network communications.
- Experience with C++, Python, and Java.
- BS or higher in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years of experience.
Desired- Experience with acoustic signal processing and analysis techniques.
- Experience using Visual Studio.
- Experience developing for Linux and for embedded systems, including ARM-based and others.
- Experience with OpenCV and/or MATLAB.

Salary Range: $103,500.00 - $181,100.00
