Chief Architecture Engineer and Delivery Lead
The Opportunity:

This role offers the best of both worlds: actively contributing to coding efforts, as needed, while leading and mentoring the team to enhance their technical skills and business acumen. As an architecture engineer, you can solve a problem with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast-paced, agile environment. We are looking for a lead with the advanced skills needed to manage team-building solutions and products from vision to production-ready systems.

You will serve as the project and technical lead to direct complex projects and programs throughout the entire software development life cycle. Your responsibilities will include strategic planning, financial and contract management, solutions definition, implementation, and delivery, software development and maintenance management, customer management, vendor management, issues and risks management, communication, and team leadership.

Manage the cost, schedule, and development of the overall system of interest encompassing hardware and software through its entire life cycle, including requirements determination through operations and system retirement, with an emphasis on domain expert involvement, risk and opportunity management, and tailoring of processes to meet the needs of the specific project. Apply advanced program management, theories, principles, and concepts and contribute to development of new principles and concepts. Manage the development of solutions to highly complex problems. Drive major capture efforts from start to finish, lead capture and marketing activities, and support business staff in captures that are especially demanding and maintain accountability for the success of company-wide, must-win opportunities. Manage complex captures led by senior-level employees by coordinating market analysis, competitor analysis, gap analysis, and teaming activities in alignment with company strategy and objectives and interact directly with multiple senior-level leaders and coordinate all phases of capture activities and strategy development. Develop and maintain a broad and collaborative network across the company and engage in speaking opportunities, networking, and publishing to build an internal and industry reputation as a recognized expert in capture management and business development. Work with wide latitude for unreviewed action with responsibility for supervision and development of a talented team. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Join us. The world can't wait.

You Have:
  • 8+ years of experience with leading software delivery programs, development, maintenance, and integration
  • Experience with engaging and influencing senior clients and leadership through presentation and interpersonal communication to achieve mission objectives
  • Experience with managing a team of engineers and developers, including establishing design concepts and criteria, product research, development, testing and integration
