Senior Cost Accountant, Project and Labor Costing

Own project accounting and thelabor burden absorption ratesthat drive pricing, billing, and margin for a multi-entity services company. You will analyze pay-to-bill spreads, support month-end close, and work directly with the Controller.

Must-Haves

• Bachelor\'s in Accountingor a related field
• 3 to 5 years of accountingexperience
• Project, job, or service-based cost accountingexperience
• Strong general ledger, financial reporting, andU.S. GAAPknowledge
• Proficiency with an integrated ERP system

What You\'ll Do

• Build and update labor burden and materials absorption rates for full cost recovery
• Run project accounting, including cost tracking, unbilled revenue accruals, and profitability reporting
• Analyze pay rate vs. bill rate spreads and gross margin; recommend pricing changes
• Reconcile timekeeping, payroll, and billing data
• Support multi-entity month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
• Prepare audit support and assist the Controller with analysis and process improvements
