We are seeking an experienced and outstanding Desktop Support with Call Center Experience for one of our esteemed clients.

Role: Desktop Support with Call Center Experience

Location: Spring, Texas - 77389

Duration: Longterm

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the First Line of Defense: Answer incoming support calls, log detailed tickets, and diagnose technical issues remotely.
  • Troubleshoot with Ease: Resolve hardware, software, operating system (Windows/macOS), and basic network connectivity issues.
  • Translate "Tech" to "Human": Guide non-technical users through step-by-step troubleshooting over the phone with patience and clarity.
  • Manage Access: Handle password resets, unlock accounts, and configure user permissions in Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
  • Own the Lifecycle: Track tickets from open to close, ensuring timely updates and escalating complex issues to Tier 2/3 teams when necessary.

What We Are Looking For

  • The Experience: 8-10 years of IT Helpdesk or Desktop Support experience, specifically in a call center or high-volume phone support environment.
  • The Tech Stack: Familiarity with Windows 10/11, macOS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and remote desktop tools (e.g., TeamViewer, AnyDesk, Remote Desktop).
  • Superb Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. You should be able to explain complex technical fixes in plain, simple terms.
  • The Right Attitude: High empathy, active listening skills, and a calm demeanor under pressure (because no one calls support when they're having a good day).
  • Multitasking Magic: The ability to type accurate notes, search internal knowledge bases, and talk to a user all at the same time.
