Role: Senior AI Architect with SAP Background
Location: Bellevue, WA (Onsite)
Duration: 12+ Months

Role Summary

Looking for a senior AI architect who can design and deliver AI solutions in SAP environments.

This role blends SAP knowledge + GenAI to build real, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. AI Solution Architecture (SAP-focused)

•        Design AI solutions for SAP landscapes (ECC, S/4HANA, BTP)

•        Experience with the following stacks

o        SAP AI (Joule, BTP, Business AI) – Minimal experience is fine

o        Hyperscaler AI (Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Google Cloud Platform) – Core experience

o        Other Open-source AI stacks

•        Experience in patterns like:

o        RAG (use enterprise data with LLMs safely)

o        Agent-based automation

o        A2A, MCP

•        Experience in building AI solutions that integrates with SAP workflows and processes

2. SAP-Centric Use Case Design

•        Identify and design AI use cases across:

o        SAP operations (Basis, incidents, monitoring)

o        Business functions (Finance, Supply Chain, HR)

•        Translate SAP business problems into practical AI solutions

3. Build Reusable Assets (IP)

•        Create accelerators for:

o        SAP + AI use cases

o        Prompt libraries

o        Agent frameworks

•        Package solutions for reuse across customers

4. Client Engagement

•        Run workshops with business and IT teams

•        Convert requirements into solution architecture

•        Present options with clear trade-offs (cost, scale, risk)

5. Delivery & Technical Leadership

•        Guide teams building AI solutions end-to-end

•        Ensure solutions move from POC → production

•        Troubleshoot real issues: data gaps, integration failures, performance

6. Integration & Architecture (strong technical experience)

•        Design APIs, data flows, and integrations across:

o        SAP systems

o        AI platforms

o        Enterprise data layers

•        Support hybrid environments (cloud + on-prem)

Core Skills Required

SAP + Enterprise Understanding (Must Have)

•        Working knowledge of SAP (any of):

o        S/4HANA, ECC, Basis, integration layers

•        Understanding of SAP use cases (operations, business processes)

AI / GenAI Skills (Must Have)

•        Hands-on with:

o        LLMs (GPT, Claude, Llama)

o        RAG architectures

o        Prompt engineering

•        Familiar with:

o        Agent frameworks or workflow automation with AI

Technology Skills

•        Python (expertise level)

•        APIs and system integration (architect level)

•        Strong Experience with at least one AI ecosystem:

o        Cloud AI (Azure / AWS / Google Cloud Platform), or

o        Open-source stack (LangChain, Hugging Face, etc.)

Good to Have (Not Mandatory)

•        SAP BTP, Joule, SAP AI Core / Launchpad

(Can be learned on the job)

•        Experience in SAP managed services or SAP transformation programs

•        Exposure to AIOps / automation solutions in SAP

Experience

•        12–15+ years overall experience

•        3–5 years in AI / ML / data-driven solutions

•        Prior experience in SAP projects (delivery, support, or architecture)

Nice-to-Have Certifications

•        Cloud AI certifications (Azure AI, AWS ML, Google Cloud Platform ML)

•        SAP BTP / SAP certifications (optional)
