Join our team developing next-generation aircraft engine control systems for advanced aerospace applications. We're looking for a Control Systems Engineer with experience in NPSS, Simulink, SCADE, and model-based development to design, integrate, and validate engine control software and simulations.

In this role, you'll work with propulsion, software, systems, and controls engineers to develop engine control algorithms, simulation models, and verification activities that support reliable, high-performance aircraft engine operation.

Location: Cincinnati, OH (100% onsite)
Security Requirement: U.S. Citizenship and an active security clearance are required.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and maintain aircraft engine control system requirements.
  • Design and update engine control logic using SCADE and Simulink.
  • Build and execute NPSS engine simulation models and analyze test results.
  • Develop interfaces between engine models and control system simulations.
  • Create and maintain Model-Based Design (MBD) artifacts and requirements using Cameo.
  • Support software integration, configuration management, and requirements traceability.
  • Develop verification plans, test procedures, and requirements-based test cases.
  • Update control architectures and system interfaces throughout development.
  • Prepare technical documentation and present design reviews to engineering teams and customers.
  • Collaborate with systems, software, propulsion, and test engineers throughout the product lifecycle.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • 3-6 years of experience developing control systems for aerospace, aviation, propulsion, or other complex engineered systems.
  • Experience with NPSS, Simulink, and SCADE.
  • Experience with control system modeling, simulation, and verification.
  • Experience developing or managing system requirements.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and technical communication skills.
  • U.S. Citizenship and an active security clearance are required.

Pay Ranges

$90,000-$120,000 USD
