Cloud Network Operations Engineer

Fully Remote and long-term contract opening for a Cloud Network Operations Engineer to support a large-scale global cloud infrastructure environment. This role focuses on cloud networking operations, automation, production reliability, and hybrid multi-cloud infrastructure support.

Responsibilities:
- Support and maintain global cloud network infrastructure
- Troubleshoot production network issues across hybrid cloud environments
- Support routing, switching, VPNs, and application delivery infrastructure
- Participate in incident response and on-call support rotation
- Assist with automation initiatives using scripting and Infrastructure as Code tools
- Perform upgrades, patching, and infrastructure maintenance
- Monitor network performance, latency, and availability metrics
- Collaborate with SRE and infrastructure engineering teams to improve reliability

Required Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in network operations or infrastructure engineering
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, DNS, VPN technologies
- Experience with F5, NGINX, Cisco, or Juniper technologies
- Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Scripting/automation experience with Python, Bash, Ansible, or Terraform
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or Splunk
- Experience supporting production environments and handling incident response

Additional Notes:
- This role includes participation in an on-call rotation
- Occasional after-hours support work may be required
