Job description is as follows:

Job Description

The Scrum Master serves as a servant leader and team enabler, supporting two agile delivery teams and promoting team health, agility, and delivery excellence. This role facilitates team-level agile ceremonies and delivery execution, ensuring alignment around requirements definition, scope, and delivery commitments.

The Scrum Master fosters self-organization and continuous improvement by removing impediments, managing risks and dependencies, and enabling predictable, high-quality delivery throughout the delivery lifecycle. This role partners closely with Product Owners, delivery teams, and stakeholders to strengthen collaboration, improve flow of work, and maintain transparency.

With a strong knowledge of Scrum and Kanban principles and practices, the Scrum Master coaches teams on agile best practices, leverages metrics to support improvement, and adapts processes to meet team and organizational needs. The role requires the ability to balance team facilitation with delivery support while aligning day-to-day execution with business priorities.

Responsibilities

Team Enablement, Coaching & Agile Practice Leadership

Promote team health, agility, and delivery excellence through continuous improvement and coaching.

Foster self-organization, ownership, accountability, and strong team dynamics.

Provide agile coaching to assigned teams and support agile maturity across the organization.

Lead all core Scrum ceremonies (Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Refinement, Review, Retrospective), ensuring process integrity, efficiency, and time-boxing.

Ask critical questions that challenge assumptions and continuously evolve agile practices.

Delivery Execution, Capacity & Performance Management

Facilitate execution and feature completion tracking for 2 3 scrum teams.

Manage team capacity and support reliable forecasting for predictable sprint and program delivery.

Take accountability for sprint success by proactively identifying, removing, or escalating blockers.

Hold teams accountable to performance expectations, team agreements, and agile best practices.

Help manage delivery risks, dependencies, and impediments at the team and cross-team level.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Dependency Management

Partner with product management, product owners, business owners, engineering leads, and project managers to ensure execution alignment.

Build strong, collaborative stakeholder relationships that promote transparency and shared ownership.

Coordinate cross-team and enterprise-wide dependencies to minimize delivery risk.

Facilitate feedback loops and alignment through agile ceremonies and structured checkpoints.

Transparency, Metrics & Continuous Improvement

Create, modify, publish, and leverage standardized agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown, workflow health) to drive transparency and continuous improvement.

Develop dashboards and reporting for team and leadership visibility.

Maintain a single source of truth for delivery tracking, metrics, and documentation.

Release Management

Manage the team s release pipeline.

Partner closely with engineering and QA teams to ensure timely, stable, and high-quality releases.

Technical & Tooling Knowledge

Hands-on experience with agile lifecycle management tools, including Jira, Target Process, Confluence, and related reporting dashboards.

Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, release coordination, build processes, and DevOps practices.

Working knowledge of common software development languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) and frameworks.

Familiarity with development environments and version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub, GitLab).
