Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our service team in a full-time role. This position is ideal for a technician who takes pride in accurate diagnostics, high-quality repairs, and delivering reliable work for every customer. A Virginia State Inspection license is a plus but not required.

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Hands-on experience working on Honda or Acura vehicles (preferred)

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on customer vehicles.
  • Complete work according to manufacturer standards and flat-rate guidelines.
  • Communicate clearly with service advisors to ensure efficient repair workflow.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Stay current with automotive technology, training, and manufacturer updates.
  • Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs.
  • Follow all safety procedures and dealership policies.


Skills & Competencies

  • Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic abilities.
  • Proficiency in performing advanced repairs and maintenance.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a flat-rate environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
  • Ability to use OEM scan tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Professional communication and teamwork skills.
  • State Inspector license a plus.
  • Honda or Acura experience preferred.


Certifications & Licenses

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Automotive certifications (ASE or manufacturer-specific) preferred.
  • Honda or Acura certifications/experience preferred.
  • State Inspection license (optional but beneficial).
