Job Title: Azure Data and Development Architect
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking an Azure Data and Development Architect to join our client to help design, implement, and support modern cloud based data and automation solutions. This role focuses on building secure, scalable Azure data platforms while enabling analytics, reporting, and business process improvement. The architect will work closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable data driven solutions. This is a direct hire role offering remote flexibility while supporting teams based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
Compensation:
$120,000 to $130,000 annually
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST or CST
Must haves:
- Expert level MS Azure experience- understanding Data Architecture within Azure. They already have it deployed so they don''t need to do a new build or design, but they have to understand how to bring new data into the existing architecture and continue to build it to scale
- Must have PowerBI
- Must have PowerApps
- Must have Databricks experience and experience normalizing and analyzing large data sets
- Must have Healthcare, Healthcare Insurance or Health System experience and understand payer, provider, healthcare data as well as claims data and EDI, like 835 and 837 EDI files
Key Responsibilities of the Azure Data and Development Architect:
• Design and deliver enterprise Azure data architectures using services such as Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, Event Hubs, Stream Analytics, and Azure Data Lake or Blob Storage
• Build and maintain ETL and ELT pipelines, data models, and SQL driven workflows that support operational systems and analytics initiatives
• Develop and integrate Power Platform solutions including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI to improve business processes and data visibility
• Create automation and system integrations using PowerShell, APIs, Python, and VBA to reduce manual effort and improve reliability
• Establish governance, security, monitoring, and CI CD standards while collaborating across technical and business teams to support production systems
Qualifications and Skills for the Azure Data and Development Architect:
• Five or more years of experience in data engineering, cloud architecture, or software development with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure
• Hands on experience with Azure data services, strong SQL development skills, and a solid understanding of data modeling and performance optimization
• Proven experience building solutions with the Microsoft Power Platform and integrating Power Platform with Azure services
• Advanced scripting and programming skills using PowerShell and Python to support automation, application development, and data processing
• Strong communication skills with the ability to lead technical discussions, collaborate with stakeholders, and mentor engineering team members
