Job Description:
An Apex client is looking for a General Engineer Technical Specialist.
Job Summary:
Provides basic assistance to support the development, documentation, implementation and basic consultation on the application of engineering tools, processes and standards. Assists with the integration of engineering designs. Assists in the identification and validation of user access roles. Assists with the development and implementation of standards. Assists in the development, maintenance and distribution of engineering documents, reports and correspondence to enable business activity. Collects engineering performance metrics and coordinates organizational requirements to support business needs. Works under close supervision.

SDA Analyst: Perform integrity checks on PCs for engineering requirements data following completion of Supplier Design Authority Baseline Verification process or the RCP/CCP Change process. Provide necessary communication, tracking and escalation until successful incorporation to the PC.
PC Integrity Check - Perform weekly checks of PCs required to be updated following BVF/PR incorporation.
1. From Report add new PCs to tracking list by copy & paste from Excel to SharePoint list
2. Open new PCs in EPIC and review for baselines flowed to the M324
3. Resolve discrepancies - review BVF form or consult with SRE for data discrepancies. Correct data discrepancies
4. Email BVF to PA with any actions needed to add baseline to PC.
5. Review open records from previous week for completion
6. Follow up/escalate PCs remaining open
RCP/CCP Integrity Check - Perform weekly checks of PCs required to be updated following approval and acceptance of an RCP/CCP Change Request.
1. Export weekly report from CSDT
2. From Report add new PCs to tracking list by copy & paste from Excel to SharePoint list
3. Review each RCP/CCP form and adjust tracking list to reflect accurate PCs and the data to be verified
4. Review PCs to the RCP/CCP forms for statements on the M324 clause
5. Email PA of discrepancies.
6. Review outstanding records for anticipated closure, update tracker.
7. Send weekly summary of open records to Supplier Management for any escalation requiring PC updates
8. Provide Additional support to PAs and Supplier Management to resolve larger issues.
Regular and predictable attendance is required.
